A service to honour the Quran was held outside the Turkish embassy in Stockholm, where convicted racist Rasmus Paludan had desecrated a copy of the holy book on January 21.

The peaceful demonstration organised by the Turkish Swedish Society was attended by the Turkish ambassador to Sweden, who condemned the provocative act.
