You'll need
3 eggs
5 tbsp sugar (75 g)
5 tbsp vegetable oil (60 ml)
5 tbsp milk (60 ml)
5 tbsp semolina (70 g)
5 tbsp flour (60 g)
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla sugar
For the syrup:
3 cups milk (600 ml)
1 cup sugar
1 cup = 200 ml
Here's how
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs and sugar. Beat with a mixer until the mixture becomes white and frothy.
Add the vegetable oil, milk, flour, semolina, baking powder, and vanilla sugar, and continue to beat until well combined.
Grease a baking dish with a bit of vegetable oil.
Pour the batter into the dish and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) without the fan for 25 minutes. Baking time may vary depending on your oven. Do not open the oven door while the cake is baking.
For the syrup, mix the sugar into the milk until completely dissolved. There's no need to boil the syrup for this dessert; preparing it with warm milk is sufficient.
Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven. Let it rest for a few minutes, then pour the cold syrup over the cake.
After the cake has reached room temperature, refrigerate it to let it set.
After chilling in the refrigerator for a few hours, your 5-Spoon Dessert is ready to serve. Cut into desired portions and enjoy!
