An Afghan artist is shipping 20 tonnes of rubbish from Bagram airbase to the US as a “gift to American people”. In 2021, the US hastily withdrew from Afghanistan and abandoned their largest military base, Bagram Airfield, leaving behind tonnes of toxic junk and garbage.
