It's Women's History Month in the UK, and on Westminster Watch we're asking: in the global conflicts currently dominating the headlines, why aren't more women pulling the levers of power? And even though women in politics are smashing glass ceilings, are they truly being represented in government?

To answer these questions, activist and great-granddaughter of suffragette Emmeline Pankurst Helen Pankurst tells Westminster Watch why women's rights still have a long way to go. Nick is then joined by Kirsty Blackman, the only female member of parliament for the Scottish National Party, who made national headlines when she brought her 2-year-old to a committee meeting. And Nick, alongside Labour politician Julia Buckley, broadcaster Emma Woolf and writer Rebecca Reid, delve into what real gender equality could look like.
