Israel targets surrounding Beirut airport, provoking the cancellation of dozens of flights departing from Lebanon.

Explosions were heard and smoke could be seen rising a few hundred meters from the takeoff runaways, according to witnesses.

Without providing any proof, Israel’s army has shared video of the strikes, saying it was targeting Hezbollah missile launchers.

Earlier last week, Israel reportedly hacked the control tower of the airport, preventing an Iranian plane from landing.
