Climate change, the biosphere & Ontario's North: Dr. Nathan Basiliko at TEDxLaurentianU

Dr. Nathan Basiliko presents an engaging talk on climate change, the biosphere and its impact on the north. He addresses climate change and the role of the biosphere in the global climate system, with an emphasis on introducing ecosystem types and roles in Central and Northern Ontario. Basiliko says climate change also affects our food supply and water security. Moreover, forestry has a large part to play in combating climate change. He also describes how soil microbes in these wetlands and forests are largely going to mediate these feedbacks.
