Combatting Islamophobia: Mohammad Al Badar at TEDxRillitoRiver

In this thought-provoking talk, Mohammad Al Badar challenges preconceptions many people hold about Islam.

Mohammad is a Kuwaiti freshman at the University of Arizona pursuing a double major in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Having lived in England for over a decade, Mohammad has lived through the gradual change in perceptions of Islam. If he is not glued to a computer screen, Mohammad is playing, watching, or discussing football (soccer). He supports hands down the best team in the world, Arsenal Football Club.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
