Louise tells us a beautiful story about how life is full of surprises and changes, even in your 50s.

Louise excelled as a Human Resources generalist within the hospitality and manufacturing industries. She is now retired from the paid workforce, but not retired from life! She spent 2/1-2 years in Chiang Mai, Thailand as a volunteer working with an international HIV and AIDS NGO, and in Dili, Timor-Leste. She is currently immersed in a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Asian Studies and Writing. Her passions include a strong commitment to rights, justice and equality for women and girls and hence her support for Blue Mountains East Timor Sisters (BMETS). BMETS provide scholarships for girls and women to finish school or attend university, particularly helping women with leadership potential. Louise is Partner of Jude, mother to Angus and Myles and grandmother to Wolfgang.
