DC screening of TRT World documentary Holy Redemption takes place

Holy Redemption, TRT World’s feature documentary exposing Zionist groups that wage terror against Palestinian villagers in the West Bank to further Israel’s occupation of Palestine, was screened in Washington DC by Code Pink, a DC-based organization with a history of Palestine solidarity mass mobilization.

Following the screening, a panel of experts and longtime legal and political activists discussed the breadth, depth, and nuance this film provides to viewers hoping to gain a more fine-tuned understanding of the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine.

TRT World spoke with Code Pink’s leader, Medea Benjamin, and other pro-Palestine activists about the film’s US screening and the importance of making this content accessible in the West.

Holy Redemption provides an exclusive look into the strategies employed by Zionist nationalists, such as members of Hilltop Youth, to expel Palestinians from their native land. They indoctrinate boys in their teens and twenties to lead the charge of establishing illegal outposts throughout hilltops in the West Bank, under no legal scrutiny, to harass, antagonize, and disappear Palestinians from nearby villages.

Members of older occupied settlements have begun holding conferences to discuss plans to illegally relocate families into besieged Gaza as soon as possible.
