The La Panilla Bike Park is Spain's gem for all things MTB. Over 500 mountain bikers gathered there for an epic Red Bull Holy Bike race. Set in a picturesque forest of pine trees, the event featured Enduro-style riding and some steep climbs, topped off with a massive avalanche downhill run.

Pese a la amenaza de lluvia, el tiempo respetó el primer día de Red Bull Holy Bike. Mientras los 572 riders comenzaban a usar el telesilla, las primeras dudas surgían: ¿lloverá? ¿debería usar ruedas para el barro?

La primera prueba tuvo lugar en un nuevo trazado de la estación segoviana: rápido, ancho y lleno de peraltes y mesetas. El eslovaco Filip Polc obtuvo una ligera ventaja sobre su compañero de equipo, el gallego Toni Ferreiro, seguido por Iago Garay, Francisco Pardarl e Iraitz Etxebarría. En la categoría femenina, Eva Castro obtuvo la primera victoria.
