On March 11, militants associated with the Balochistan Liberation Army forced a train traveling through the Balochistan province of Pakistan to a halt, taking the hundreds of passengers on board the train hostage.

In the hours that have passed since the terror attack, Pakistani troops were able to free dozens of the train passengers held hostage. Among the fatalities of this deadly attack are the train driver, a police officer and a soldier, according to medical and transit officials on site.
