Dutch riot police were called in against protesters at the University of Amsterdam, where they intervened violently and made several arrests.

Protesters occupied the university's Maagdenhuis building, renaming it Dr Shireen al Attar House in memory of a Palestinian doctor killed by Israel, and called for the university to cut all ties with Israeli universities.
