Team Alinghi clinched victory in the penultimate Act of the Extreme Sailing World Series 2014 off the coast of Nice, leaving fellow Swiss Realteam in second place and Ben Ainslie Racing in third. Red Bull Sailing – led by double Olympic champions Roman Hagara and Hans Peter Steinacher – raced hard on the final day, narrowly missing out on a podium spot by just a point.
