Gateway to the Invisible: Fabian Oefner at TEDxEmbryRiddle

Fabian Oefner is a curious investigator, photographer and artist based in Switzerland, whose work blends the fields of art and science. With images depicting sound waves and iridescence, the main aim of his work is to show these phenomena in previously unseen and poetic ways, encouraging viewers to pause for a moment and appreciate the magic that constantly surrounds us. Mr. Oefner's photographs have been exhibited in various countries and are part of private collections around the globe. The cover images on our booklet and website are from his work and he's flying in from Zurich to share his stories.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
