Gülpembe: Turkish Song by Barış Manço

Mehmet Barış Manço (1943-1999) was a Turkish singer, songwriter, and composer. He was a pioneer of Anatolian rock genre and also considered a pioneer in Turkish rock music. Gülpembe (from the phrase gül pembe, means pink rose) is a song written by Ahmet Güven as a requiem for Manço's late grandmother.
