Where do I want to be in 10 years? What kind of work do I want to do then? When Casey Bridgeford asked these questions to participants in his workshop a few years ago, he realized that he had not done everything he could to build a foundation for a better life for himself and his family. On the TEDxPenn stage, Casey shares his personal story about how a high school graduate who was determined to never set foot in college ended up at the Wharton School of Business.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
