More than 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions took part in the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, with new exhibitors from Jordan, Lithuania, Montenegro and Morocco. This year's Partner Country—Spain featured more than 90 exhibitors.

Australian wines scored big at the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition with 13 trophies and won gold in 32 categories. Former Chief Secretary and notable wine collector Henry Tang also visited the fair and noted a dramatic increase in both the quality of products and exhibitors.

Henry Tang also selected four quality wines at the fair.
