Nabila Jamshed graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Global Governance and Diplomacy, and went on to work for the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which won the Nobel Peace Prize last year. she is currently work for the UNESCO as a Consultant with its Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace & Sustainable Development, and have previously worked with the Asian Development Bank. she is also a novelist, with one publication - Wish Upon A Time: The Legendary Scimitar, currently in bookstores in the international market.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
