Israeli airstrike kills a 19-year-old Palestinian TikToker

An Israeli airstrike has killed the 19-year-old Palestinian TikToker, Medo Halimy.

Halimy’s “Tent Life” videos used to garner millions of views as he documented life under Israeli bombardment in a refugee camp.

He launched his TikTok account after being displaced with his parents, four brothers, and sister in Muwasi, the southern coastal area Israel designated as a so-called safe zone.

They had already been displaced and fled several times from Israel's deadly invasion, from Gaza City to Khan Younis, before escaping again for Muwasi.

Israel’s genocidal war on Palestine’s Gaza has killed over 40,600 Palestinians.
