The Turkevi Center in New York — which houses Türkiye’s diplomatic missions and is currently a voting site for the runoff in the country’s presidential elections — was a victim of vandalism after an unknown assailant shattered windows on the lower floor of the building with a crowbar. An investigation into the attack has been launched by the New York Police Department.
