The Arab League was formed in Cairo in 1945. Since then, it has been called on to respond to issues ranging from the Palestine-Israel conflict to the Arab Spring as well as other disputes and rivalries among regional leaders. Now, with the possibility of normalisation in the Middle East, new groups and partnerships are taking shape.
