The son of a safety officer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District recently chose to inspire other young athletes on ESPN’s “Make A Wish” series after a serious medical condition forced the celebrated running back to quit playing football. Jalan Sowell took viewers on an in-depth journey into his life, medical condition, and wish to produce and be part of an inspirational feature. (USACE video by Lee Roberts)
