With water, food, and electricity scarce for locals, Saudi Arabian state television is reporting that the first foreigners evacuated since the start of the fighting last Saturday have arrived by sea in the port of Jeddah.

In Sudan, the Doctors' Union says more than two-thirds of hospitals in the capital and neighbouring states are now "out of service".
