Spreading Gay: Harrish Iyer at TEDxSITM

Harish Iyer, also known as "Aham", hiyer and "Harrish Iyer" (born 16 April 1979), is an activist for a number of socio-environmental issues. He is known for his work in the fields of child rights and LGBT rights. Pink Pages named him one of India's seven most influential gays and lesbians activist and one of the ten individuals to be awarded the Zindagi Live Awards for his work in creating awareness on child sexual abuse. On 29 June 2013, The Guardian, the British national daily named him in the list of the 100 most influential LGBT rights activists in the world for 2013. He is listed at number 71, and was the only Indian national in this list.
