The 4th "R" of education: Meryl Levin at TEDxAmoskeagMillyard

Meryl Levin, a social activist and photographer turned education activist, talks about the 4th "R" in education: responsibility. Meryl encourages us to consider how we learn and what human qualities we want to instill in our children as they grow.

Levin is a social documentary photographer with a focus on health, social welfare and political engagement whose work has been exhibited and publish worldwide. She recently helped start New Hampshire's first Montessori school. She is the author of two monographs, "Anatomy of Anatomy" and "Primarily New Hampshire;" editor of several publications and curator of several group exhibitions.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
