Cissy Wu was born in Shanghai, China and came to Chicago in 2010. She is a second year student at UCI, double majoring in Mathematics and Quantitative Economics. In 2013, she founded LEAP with three friends. It is a peer mentor program that helps young international students studying in high schools in the United States overcome difficulties they may encounter in their daily and academic life. Now, LEAP has 20 mentors, studying in various Universities all over the nation.
