Türkiye’s third largest city and one of its tourism hotspots, Izmir has welcomed its first cruise ship in years. This year, Türkiye expects around 1,000 of them to bring in a forecasted 1.5 million holidaymakers. It's hoped it will help revive the industry following the global pandemic. Kubra Akkoc reports from the Aegean coast.
