Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska, met with five Ukrainian servicemen who were among those captured by Russian forces and brought to Türkiye after a prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia in September.

The five commanders, who are in Türkiye under a personal guarantee of protection made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reunited with their families in Istanbul.
