The US Senate committee convened a panel on antisemitism and anti-Muslim hate.

Congressmen, however, neglected to address the surge in anti-Arab attacks, including the tragic murder of 6-year-old Palestinian American Wadea Al Fayoume, a victim of one of the first hate crimes post-October 7.

Instead, the focus shifted to accusing pro-Palestine students, who participated in Gaza encampments last Spring, of antisemitism.

Dr. Omar Suleiman and Dr. Thaer Ahmad, who recently visited Gaza, attended the panel and shared their perspectives with TRT World.
