The US Supreme Court is hearing arguments from the Biden administration on rolling back a Trump-era immigration policy that made asylum seekers wait for the outcome of their visa applications in Mexico rather than the US.

Under the 'Remain in Mexico' scheme, more than 70,000 migrants have been turned back since 2019.
