The German artist Martin Kippenberger (1953-1997) produced at complex and varied body of work from the mid-1970s until his death. His works were not uncommonly provocative, such as the crucified frog Feet First (Füße Zuerst) (1990) that sparked anger among catholics in Italy. In 2009, the Museum of Modern Art in New York staged the first major retrospective of Martin Kippenberger's work. The show with the title The Problem Perspective featured key selections and bodies of work, including paintings, sculpture, works on paper, installations, multiples, photographs, posters, announcement cards, books, and music. Back then, VernissageTV produced a walkthrough of the exhibition. As part of our VTV Classics series, we have currently re-edited the video, so we are now able to publish an improved version in HD.
