Where Everything I Am Came From: George Boggs at TEDxFSU Collaborative Collective

I am a lifelong learner who finds new teachers constantly. TED events often capture the kinds of experiences I want to have with other people, listening to the passions, the history, the beauty, and the dilemmas that give meaning to our lives. At some point others began to seek those experiences from me, and becoming a teacher kicked my passion to learn into a higher gear. I love to learn about music, language, and food, the building blocks of human culture and the fuel of our most joyous experiences.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
