A driving force in the produce industry for over past thirty years, Tonya Antle now chairs a 1.5 million dollar Women's Fund that is prioritizing women's empowerment in Monterey County through community education and network building. In her TEDxMontereyWomen talk, Tonya challenges us all to challenge long held assumptions about the role of girls and women in today's society with a simple question: "Why stop here?"

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
