The Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia, Dejan Židan, said his government appreciates China’s Belt and Road Initiative and cooperation with Hong Kong in relation to developing markets, as the country’s long tradition of wine growing was shown in a new country pavilion at the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2016. The Fair also featured an introduction to Cool Climate Wines and a first sighting of Chardonnay in a can.
