Yaren, the famous stork, has returned to Eskikaraagac in Bursa, Türkiye, reuniting with fisherman Adem Yilmaz for the 14th year — though not without giving him a scare by arriving late.

Their reunion has captured the hearts of not only the village but the entire nation, symbolising the deep connection between humans and nature. Eskikaraagac, known as “the village of storks,” has been part of the European Stork Villages Network since 2011.
