Since the launch of the TEDx program in 2009, there have been over 9,000 TEDx events -- independently organized TED-like events -- in 150 countries. These events spark connection on a local level -- people sharing big ideas with their community on stages all around the world. Here is a glimpse of what that looked like in 2013.
