Jen Anderson, co-founder of The Reset Foundation, discusses how we can fix America's prison system by learning to acknowledge muck, hope, and each other.
Jen tells stories of people who spent time in prison: Sunni, who tells of the real prison experience, and Summer, who grew up expecting to spend time in prison, teach us to acknowledge the muck--the depth of the prison problem in America. David teaches us that even in the muck we can find enduring hope. James teaches that we must each acknowledge our role in order to find the collective strength to meet our match.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
