A major topic at the Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference 2013 in Hong Kong concerned the impact of China and ASEAN on regional and global markets: Plenary speaker George Yeo, Chairman of Kerry Logistic Network, said Hong Kong could exert itself organically on the relationship between the two while creative financing would likely emerge. Over 1,600 delegates from 27 countries and regions attended the third edition of the conference organised by the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council on 7 November 2013, which for the first time featured an area for exhibitors.
