Autism and the Albanian Society: Liri BERISHA at TEDxTirana

Dr. Liri Berisha is a prominent pediatrician and President of the Albanian Children Foundation. Dr. Berisha is extensively involved in awareness campaigns on issues that have children in their focus. She is a UNICEF ambassador with a portfolio of activities within and outside of Albania. Throughout her long career, Dr. Berisha has received national and international awards for her valuable contribution to children with different needs and for her unparalleled humanity.
Doctor Berisha believes that sensitivity and awareness for autism is a duty for all of us, since having an autistic child today is a major challenge for the family, a sublime sacrifice that deserves respect, support, encouragement, attention, but above all human warmth.
