Hong Kong companies are building numerous partnerships with Malaysian counterparts for Belt and Road Initiative opportunities, such as in the film industry, says HKTDC Malaysia Director Hoh Jee Eng. There have also been massive Chinese mainland capital injections into Malaysia’s logistics and maritime infrastructure under the Initiative, she says, such as in the Malacca Gateway Port.
