Born a leader, education begins before birth | Julie Gerland | TEDxAix

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Very early parenting pioneer, Julie Gerland is a passionate advocate for prenatal maternal empowerment. She will argue that education should begins from conception, to prepare our children to grow up in tomorrow's world.

For the past 30 years Julie Gerland has worked to empower mothers and raise awareness on the critical importance and long-term impact of the prenatal time. She is the Chief Representative of OMAEP (World Organisation of Prenatal Education Associations) at the United Nations' Economic and Social Council.

As the Founder and Director of the Holistic Parenting Programme "Preconception to Birth & Beyond...," she proposes a paradigm shift empowering mothers in the education of their children from conception to age two, helping them to raise tomorrow's leaders in a sustainable, peaceful and creative world.

An international speaker and co-author of several award-winning books, Julie travels extensively with her husband offering solutions at all levels of society to the current world challenges.
