Scott Michels is out to make the world a better place and he needs your help! He is the founder of the Starfish Casters non-profit initiative, with a mission of mobilizing the caring power of individuals to improve communities. Having spent over a decade working with at-risk and incarcerated youth, Scott learned more from his students than he ever taught them. Discovering the parallels between the youth's barriers and his own, Scott was able to break harmful cycles and begin living a more meaningful life. He now works to help others do the same. Formerly a non-profit senior manager, Scott recently founded The C.A.U.S.E., a consulting and workshop facilitation business that combines his passions of social change, team and community building, art, music, film, public speaking, and world changing into one full time effort.
