A passenger jet carrying 133 people has crashed in southwest China with an unknown number of casualties.

That's according to state broadcaster CCTV. The China Eastern Airlines plane - a Boeing 737 - crashed in the rural countryside near Wuzhou in the Guangxi region - and reportedly "caused a mountain fire". CCTV says rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene.
