In May 2013, at age 21, twin sisters Tashi and Nungshi became the World's first twin sisters to successfully climb Mount Everest. They are also the World's first twin sisters to climb the highest peaks in South America, Europe and Australasia, as well as first Indian twin sisters to scale Africa's highest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro. They are also the only twin sisters ever to scale an unclimbed, unnamed peak at 21000 ft 'alpine style' in Indian Himalayas. The twin sisters are currently on #mission2for7, to become the world's first twin sisters to step together on the highest peaks in all continents.They have been felicitated by Hon. President of India, Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand, Haryana and Delhi, also by Hon. sports and youth affairs minister for their stupendous achievements.They are also Global brand ambassadors for Skillshare International & Round Table, India & have been recognized by Limca book of records.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
