Discover Your Passion, Chase Your Dreams : Jubanashwa Mishra at TEDxLBSIM

Jubanashwa Mishra is currently in a mission to spread the message of "Discover Your Passion", when job satisfaction is a serious issue worldwide. In his project called "One Week Job India", he worked 28 jobs in all the 28 states of India for one week each, immersing in a process of re-discovering and re-envisioning himself. His message for the youngsters is to chase their dream instead of going for a stereotypical profession of engineering and medicine. He started this epic journey in mid May 2013 which ended in December 2013, with a variety of jobs ranging from mountain cleaner to TRP Analyst to Tattoo maker to Rafting Trainee to Cremation Assistant to Tea Factory Worker to Bullet Mechanic.
After a stereotypical Indian degree of Engineering, Jubanashwa worked for 3 years in IT giant Tata Consultancy Services. Then he did his Post graduation from the school of ideas MICA, Ahmedabad. After that he worked on many challenging projects ranging from digital consulting for top companies, to first time ever biggest rural brand activation through Folk theatre called JATRA. He is very famous among the Indian entrepreneurship fraternity for his not so famous ventures like EZee Dictionary, Fetcha Kucha, EZee Digi Communications, and International Short Film Festival Bhubaneswar.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
