Ignacio López-Goñi is Doctor in Biology and Chair professor in Microbiology. Currently Dean of the School of Sciences at the University of Navarra, he studied and did research in Berkeley and Missouri. During these last years he has been working as a professor and researcher at the University of Navarra while also working in @microBIO, a scientific divulgation platform that covers news and curiosities.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
