Ὡραῖα ἦταν, λοιπόν, ἐδῶ κάτω΄
νὰ ξανάρθωμε κάποτε.

Ὡραία ζωή,
ὡραῖα πρωϊνὰ κι ἀπογεύματα, ὡραῖα κορίτσια.

Κύριε, σοῦ χαρίζω τὴν αἰωνιότητα
γιὰ μία ἀκόμη ζωὴ στὸν ἴδιο πλανήτη.

Δείξου γιὰ μία φορὰ γενναιόδωρος΄
ξαναγέμισε ξέχειλο τὸ ποτήρι μου
πού κοντεύει ν' ἀδειάσῃ.
