Peter Acheson is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Peoplebank Australia Limited.

Peoplebank Australia Limited became Australia's largest IT & T recruitment company with the acquisition of the Ambit Recruitment Group in February 2008.

Peoplebank has operations throughout Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Jakarta.

Peter was the Chief Executive Officer of the Ambit Recruitment Group from August, 2004.

Prior to joining the Ambit Recruitment Group, Peter had a twelve year career with SingTel Optus including roles as the Director of Business Mobile, National Sales Manager, Finance, Banking & Insurance and various Account Management roles.

During his time as both a Strategic Account Manager and National Sales Manager at Optus he had extensive dealings with the National Australia Bank as a customer of Optus including major network implementations for the National's Dial EFTPOS network, electronic bill payment, Disaster recovery (DRP) network and national voice network.

Prior to SingTel Optus, Peter worked in the IT & T industry with Telstra and Canon in various Sales and Marketing management roles.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Monash University and Bachelor of Education (Physical & Health) from Wollongong University and is a graduate of the Harvard Advanced Management program.

Peter lives in Melbourne with his wife and four children.
