Growing Without Growing: Tracey Locke at TEDxTampaBay

Tracey Locke is a blogger, former television journalist and former grown up. With more than twenty years in the media, she used to write about serial killers. Now she writes about cereal slurpers.

Inspired by her two children's 'this is it!' mentality, she conducted a life experiment to embrace all the qualities that come naturally to us as kids. Enthusiasm. Optimism. Sincerity. Intuition. For a year, she played every week, learned every day and tried to stay present every moment while navigating the inevitable distractions that adults call reality.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
