An elderly Palestinian man was violently attacked and shot by illegal Israeli settlers while he was walking with his wife and child on his private land near his home in Masafer Yatta, in the occupied West Bank.

The shooter is allegedly the security co-ordinator of the nearby Avigayil settlement. Soldiers and illegal settlers in military uniform attempted to prevent the ambulance from reaching him and attacked residents who arrived to help.
